the-sunset

the sunset at the college
always reminds me of the
happy carefree days

when we are all nineteen
and here we met
we play and craze
and skipped the lessons
we talk of the dreams
we think nonsense
we feel youth

the sunset
the sunset!

always perfectly warm and bright beam
disguising as an eternal moment.

At HKBU, during the sunset

cafe-life

breeze amid the stagnant air
blowing through the floating hair
lightly slip by the ringing ear

pop

for life is too soon to be captured
too fast to hold
and too heavy to bear

when the days and nights are filled with nothing
but sheer despair.

utopia-?

living in hong kong
is like an ant in the tong —
nothing seems wrong
nowhere to belong.

ages bygone
forcing one to work on,
life is no way to be withdrawn,
the blackened white swan.

From now and then
we cannot stop thinking when
we can stop being manipulated by men,
work and eat and sleep and time and again.

ash

How many people we meet in our life,
and how many leave their marks in it?
You may, perhaps,
call it as “fate”
which we could never change it a bit.

Parallel lines,
Intersecting points,
Overlapping time —

Who knows what is ahead?

Move on,
there is no way to return.

Flash —
tic-tac-tic-tac
moment never waits,
time never pauses,
and, thus, wake up.

Beauty would not last,
Words would be washed off,
Meanings lose,
Feelings fade,
Nothing can last
like a moment of flashback.

A poem dedicated to the very interesting people whom I have met in my life —
And there will of course be more of them.
