hi rainbow, dear rainbow,
do you know
how long have i been missing you and
how long have we been longing for you?

they say you are a promise
from god,
are you?

anyways, thank you for coming
over to our world of pity
and false hope
and small dreams,
to my day
to refresh my mind and
to brighten up my globe.

thank you, dear rainbow,
all the best to you —
the mark for a happy day and
the signature of a brave new world.

conversation

In response to Octavio Paz’s “A Tree within”.

no i cannot,
i think i cannot,
and i found i cannot.

blind eyes,
deaf ears,

for the world has long become ignorant and arrogant
and the fire of passion
is put off —
dim and dark
and the blood is stagnant
and cold and bold and dead

for the gap between us
is too far to be skipped

the tree within is a tree within,
without branches to touch and to stay in touch with
without being noticed

come closer, can you hear mine?

no you cannot.

to-the-pessimist

hi me, dear pessimist,

i know well, from the start of my life-as-a-poet,
that i am
born to be deprived.

for life is given
with presumptions:
as an investment tool,
as a tree of money and golds,
and the rights are given
on the basis of lies,
to calm you down, to incept, to brainwash, to renew, to build a self
in the world of craziness.

this is the paradise —
our city,
the post-colony,
the international hub of world’s economy,
the stepping stone,

to a greater world.

born to be deprived — this is our lives.

like snowflakes
like raindrops
like feathers
unstrung, untangled, unrestricted.

things

things come in clusters,
worse things in pairs,
at least:

friends, family, self,
confusion, emotions, tensions,
pressure, pleasure, measures —

the way of the world,
the rule of sequences.

clustered, crumbled, crushed, clashed.

make-a-wish

hello my dear friends
up in the sky,
have you known
what have been happening to our very tiny world?

my world has changed
from a semi-paradise,
a not-very-perfect utopia
into purgatory,
to hell:

the missing flight,
the shipwreck,
the tragic planes,
the crashed trains,
the burning buses,
the cracked roads,
the exploding city,
the killing virus,
the fatal wars,
and all that done by my selfishly self-centered human-fellows.

if i am to wish upon a star,
i pray,
for the peace of the world,
for the happiness of my fellow,
for love,
for respect,
for a better world,
all the very best.

Written on 2 August 2014,
to the people of the world, in memoir of
the missing MH370
the shipwreck in korea
the MH17, AH5017, GE222
the burning buses and crashed trains in china,
the taiwan gas blast,
the murderer ebola in africa, and
all the wars.

my-name

Love is miraculous, it is
A magic casted on us at a special
Moment in time,
Happily ever after, i pray, merrily going
Over and over and over, for
I am falling in love and knowing
You are feeling the same,
A little wish i make will
Never ever fade.

literature

les fleurs du mal,
the yellow wallpaper,
the picture of dorian gray,
the old man and the sea,
a room with a view,
a pale view of hills
nineteen-eighty-four,
never let me go,
dubliners.

be drunken in literature,
in prose, in stories,
or in novels,
or in movies,
or in poetries,
or in words,
and in dreams;

forget about the really real reality,
believe in nothing that you see,
born and deprived and hope to be free,
to read,
to think,
to pray,
to chase,
to achieve,

what cannot be done by the body, the limbs, the senses,
if possible,
by the mind,

at least.

love

For love, as said, is like a shooting star,
Way up high and goes so far,
Cannot be kept in a crystal jar,
But it does grow,
Like the very unique flower:

No restriction,
No ropes,
No locks,
No knots,
With patience,
With water,
With the heart to love and the heart to be loved.

Believe in true love,
Because the love needs love to love.
